Does our family have to be members at Victory Baptist Church in order for my child(ren) to attend VBA?

No, but if you're looking for a great church, we have a recommendation for you. 


If our family does not attend any church, can our child(ren) still attend VBA?

We do not have a church attendance requirement for our families. However, we have learned from past experience that students who attend a church of like faith are more likely to thrive at VBA.


How much does it cost to attend Victory Baptist Academy?

While we hope that cost is not your only consideration, we do understand that it is an important one. There is a $75 application fee for new students. An enrollment fee and tuition. Please see our page labeled FINANCES for our current Tuition and Fees sheet.


How do I pay tuition?

All financial transactions are handled through FACTS.  


Am I required to use FACTS for my financial transactions?

Yes.


Why is VBA so affordable when compared with other private schools in the area?

VBA exists as a ministry of Victory Baptist Church, and our sponsoring church is committed to keeping Christian education affordable. Each year, Victory Baptist Church invests in Victory Baptist Academy which allows us to keep tuition affordable. With the help of our sponsoring church, we are able to provide a quality, Christian education that won't break the bank.  


Is tuition assistance available?

Yes. Through the generosity of our church family and community, VBA is able to make tuition assistance available. Assistance is awarded on a first-come-first-serve basis, but a family's financial need is also considered. Please apply through the FACTS family portal.


What does VBA use for textbooks?

VBA primarily uses A Beka Book and Bob Jones Press at all levels. 


What is the student/teacher ration at VBA?

The student/teacher ratio is approximately 18 to 1.


What are the class sizes at VBA?*

Pre-Kindergarten: 10-15 students

Kindergarten: 18-20 students

Grades 1-6: 18-20 students

Grades 7-12: 15-20 students

*Class sizes are subject to change based upon enrollment.


Does VBA have a uniform dress code?

Yes.


Will my student be required to take any entrance tests before being accepted at VBA?

Yes, if your student is applying to enroll for grades 1-12. The pre-admission test will be scheduled after your family tours our campus and completes the initial application packet. 


How old does/do my child(ren) need to be in order to attend Pre-kindergarten and/or Kindergarten?

Students enrolling in Pre-Kindergarten must be three years old by September 1, and students enrolling in Kindergarten must be five years old by September 1.


What are VBA's hours?

The VBA school office is open M-F from 7:50 AM-3:45 PM (During regular, non-holiday school days)

The VBA school day runs from 8:05 AM-3:30 PM.

Morning drop-off is 7:50-8:05 AM.

Afternoon pickup is 3:30-3:45 PM.


Does VBA provide any kind of Before/After School Care?

VBA partners with a local childcare facility for Before and After School Care. The school office can provide you with more details.


Does VBA have a lunch program?

VBA works with local restaurants to provide quality meals for students.
