Through a partnership with Global Next, students in high school at VBA have an opportunity to travel overseas while learning and earning class credits. In recent years, our students and sponsors have traveled to China, Italy, the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, France, England and Greece.

Participants in the study abroad trip are expected to complete reading assignments and post-course work related to the international conference they attend to receive class credit. 

According to the Global Next website, the goal of the organization is to "[provide] students and adults with opportunities for international travel, practical leadership training, networking, and cultural growth. [Global Next's] purpose is to allow students to see the world in context, to understand the needs of the world, and to prepare for leadership roles and a life of purpose."
