Spiritual and Academic Expectations
Spiritual Development
Victory Baptist Academy, like Victory Baptist Church, is committed to teaching the whole counsel of God (Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 20:27). Our goal is for graduates to be confident in their salvation (II Corinthians 13:5, II Peter 1:10), oriented to a biblical worldview (Hebrews 13:21), and committed to a life of servanthood to God and others (Philippians 2:5-8). Furthermore, by demonstrating a mastery of academic objectives (Colossians 3:23) in the humanities, mathematics, sciences, and Christian doctrine, they will be able to effectively engage the culture for the glory of God (I Corinthians 10:31, II Corinthians 10:5, Philippians 2:15, I Peter 3:15).
To strengthen their spiritual formation, all students take Bible classes as part of their core training and attend elementary or secondary chapel on a weekly basis. We also look for ways to put our faith into action through service projects such as Operation Christmas Child.
Students in grades 3-12 have the opportunity to compete in state-level Bible-related competitions designed to sharpen their knowledge of God's Word.
